For my birthday, Mike and I watched SHREK Forever After (3D) in Megamall last Thursday. Fun, fun, fun!

My 24th birthday
This is supposed to be an informal narrative of my 24th birthday. So forgive me if this will not turn out to be one.
And hell yes, I am already 24 years old! Almost half of the common life span of man. I am getting there, to the so called “mid-life crisis”.
But since it’s my birthday, I just wish to ignore this fact now.
There was no plan at all for my birthday because I am totally broke. I spent my birthday away from my family because of some circumstances I wish not to mention. There’s no point of dealing with it anymore because the more I think about it, the more I get sad. So let’s just go on with this narrative and be happy!
May 19, around 11PM I decided to watch Angus, Thong and the Perfect Snogging in Acee’s laptop. I was trying to fall asleep. And okay, I admit, I was waiting for my friends to greet me a Happy birthday. Then I heard an alarm in someone’s cell phone, it’s already 12AM. I waited for Mike’s greeting, but he was already asleep. My first greeter was Reg Ongkiko. Thanks sis!
Yes, I was kinda upset that Mike wasn’t my first greeter. But aside from the fact that my tampo is mababaw he made bawi naman . (Hahaha ang arte lang! Bwiset!)
Mike sent a group message to almost all of his contacts in his cellphone, asking them to greet me on my special day. A ring from my phone woke me up at around 9AM, and the call came from Kuya BigBoy. I fondly call him Ninong(Kunin daw kasi namin siya ni Mike na ninong pag nagpakasal na kami).
Hehehe. I would like to thank everyone who responded to Mike’s request. That was so sweet of you! (Kilala nyo na kung sino-sino kayo!)
There were few special friends I would like to mention for they made me birthday extra special.

Kaloy Luneta Super thank you! Isa lang naman ang simple wish ko para sa birthday ko eh, mapanood ang SHREK 4 (Forever After) in 3D. At tinupad mo! Salamat ng marami tol, babawi ako! At syempre sabi nga ni Kaloy, kay Elaine Elloso din salamat! Namimiss na kita. Sana makapag-date tayong apat. Sorry hinarass ko si Kaloy para ilibre ako, hahaha! (To whom it may concern: My ultimate wish is a new job. For clarification purposes, hahahaha!)

Vanessa Tiu Yes, thank you Vane for meeting up with mw in Starbucks Megamall. It made me feel I am still connected to DevComSoc. I had fun conversing with you again after so long. And of course, we will never forget that “celebrity” who tried to use his pick up lines to us, hahaha! ASA! “You guys, been to Boracay? You want to come with me there?” Hahaha! Love you Vane!
And of course, to Mike , you made me the happiest last Thursday. And I love you for that! Everything you did for me was really appreciated. You let me strike a pose with Iron Man. You even let me decide what movie to watch, and I am glad we watched SHREK even though I know you also wanted to see Robin Hood. (We’ll try to see that too Dear!) And after the movie, without realizing that Goin’ Bulilit and T2 child star Mica dela Cruz was there too to watch SHREK, you excitedly hurried to me and let me have a picture with her. You were also very patient to wait until I was finally decided where to and what food to eat. You were more than eager to listen to my story of what had happened in Starbucks when you were meeting up with Kaloy. And of course,you were really kind to deal with my tantrums that day. Thank you very much!
To all, who have greeted me through SMS and FB, thank you so much for making my day extra special. I may not be able to mention all your names, but know that I am so grateful for that simple and thoughtful act of yours. You all made me realize that I don’t need to fret.
